February 24, 2024 is the second anniversary of the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine. On this day, solidarity actions with Ukraine will take place in Bern and Geneva and we encourage you to join them.
Believe in Ukraine! Act for Ukraine!
Bern: Saturday, February 24, 2024, 2:00 pm
The march will start at 14:00 from Schützenmatte in Bern and will go to Bundesplatz, where a rally will start at 15:00.
Geneva: Saturday, February 24, 2024, 15:30, Place des Nations
All those who support and are ready to defend the human right to freedom and peace are invited.
For two years now, this senseless, unnecessary war has been going on for no one but the Russian authorities.
"The war is waged by a ruling group against its subjects, and the purpose of the war is not to avoid the conquest of its territory, but to preserve the social order." - George Orwell, 1984, Animal Farm
Putin and his entourage need this war to maintain power and further rule the Russians. The criminal regime has been going at it for 24 years, propaganda continues to sow discord between people, critics of Putin's policies are being persecuted and killed. We can and must put an end to this so that Russian society stops the war, respects human rights and freedoms, and returns to enforcing international laws.
Come to the rally on February 24 to express your position.
As a sign of respect for the Ukrainian side, we ask you not to use Russian symbols at the rally: do not take Russian or white-blue-white flags.
